“I’m efficient. Very efficient.”
PSC 13 – Managing daily stress

“I’m efficient. Very efficient.”
That’s what a client once told me, smiling, when I mentioned the importance of taking breaks between meetings.

“I don’t need fifteen minutes. In five seconds, I move from one topic to another. I know, I decide, I lead. All day long.”

I didn’t say anything. But I thought of PSC 13 – Regulating daily stress.

This skill has nothing to do with fragility or lack of efficiency. It’s a skill of endurance. A tool for sustainable leadership.

📌 Managing daily stress means:

  • Learning to lower pressure before it becomes chronic

  • Avoiding the “pressure cooker” effect: the more you compress, the higher the risk of exploding… or imploding

  • Knowing how to anticipate, organize, and create breathing spaces

  • Maintaining inner calm even when the outside accelerates

When you regulate your stress, you don’t wait to reach the breaking point before acting. You create micro-rituals to keep a clear head, make better decisions, and stay calm — even when things get shaky.

And most importantly: you stop confusing tension with performance. Because no, being tense doesn’t mean being efficient.

🎯 Micro-action of the day: Do like the pros — take a halftime

It’s like if football players stayed on the field without ever taking a break. Even the best need recovery time.

  1. Between two meetings, pause.

  2. Look at your schedule for the next 14 days (or your first 14 days back at work).

This isn’t a luxury. It’s professional hygiene.

PSC 13 – Managing stress means understanding that stress is part of life… but how you live it changes everything.

Tomorrow, we’ll explore how to face adversity without losing balance.
