Day 2 - PSC 2 - Critical Thinking: the skill that doesn’t activate on its own
You want to see things clearly? Start by seeing clearly within yourself.
Critical thinking is a fundamental skill. It allows us to suspend judgment, sort information, resist manipulation, and argue with fairness. It’s a real superpower. But this superpower isn’t always available.
Every day, you process the equivalent of 74 GB of information – that’s 16 HD movies. No wonder your brain filters, simplifies, and skips steps.
And that’s the real issue:
👉 An exhausted leader doesn’t engage in critical thinking. They react. They confirm their biases. They decide too quickly. And they risk being wrong. Seriously.
So what should you do?
Work on your critical thinking, yes. But above all, create the right conditions to activate it.
💡 The audio of the day explains what PSC2 – Critical Thinking – is about. But in today’s article, I invite you to go further: to self-observe, to identify the moments when you can’t think clearly, and to make them a signal of vigilance.
Micro-action of the day:
Write down a recent moment when you would have benefited from slowing down before reacting.
Was it a lack of method?
Or a lack of energy, calm, or perspective?
Decide on a signal to watch for in yourself — the one that tells you you’re no longer fully clear-minded.
Tomorrow: PSC 3 – Positive self-evaluation. Not to flatter yourself. To grow without burning out.
See you tomorrow,
Krumma
